Janice and I did a swap of half of our respective project life kits just recently (she’s got the Blush edition while I’ve got the Midnight edition), so I now have half a Blush edition!
It is such a joy to work with. All that colour! The moment I got my hands on them, I couldn’t wait to start playing with them 😀
If you’ve also got a scrapbooking buddy or are hesitant to invest in another kit (maybe like me, you worry that you won’t be able to use up 2 full kits), I suggest you trade half kits so that you get to try out another kit without having to buy 2 separate kits. Another plus point is you get to decide if the designs are your cup of tea before investing in a full kit (if you love it so much). For instance, on top of worrying that I wouldn’t be able to use up 2 full kits, I was also worried about having so many colours in a box to play with; there’s so much more to consider when putting a spread together, not just patterns (like in the midnight edition, because everything is more or less either grey, black, white, yellow, or a combination of these few colours).
After trying out the Blush edition kit, I am loving it so much I’m likely going purchase the full kit. In fact, I most likely HAVE to purchase another full kit as I’ve used up most of my Midnight and Blush 4×6″ cards. However, I’ve got loads of 3×4″ cards leftover from both kits. Will have to come up with ways to use them, perhaps in a different project life layout design? look out for it in a separate post!
So here it is, Week 32 using the Blush edition:
– Project Life Core Kit (Blush Edition)
– Maste Washi Tapes
– Dear Lizzy Accent & Phrase Stickers
– Dear Lizzy Thickers
– Making Memories Mini Shimmer Alpha
– Smash pink pen
AREN’T THE COLOURS SIMPLY LOVELY?! I’ve kept everything kind of simple with matting photos, some washi tape, stickers and more journaling this time round. Definitely loving this kit for the gorgeous colours, patterns and journaling cards (that actually prompt me to journal)!
