Week 52

Hi everyone! I am back! I am so sorry for MIA-ing for such a long time. The past few weeks (months, really) have been crazy. I was falling ill twice per month, making quite frequent weekend trips into Malaysia with the pals, rushing to get Christmas presents, trying to get the scrapbooking stash under control. Time flew by, and before I knew it, it’s been 2 months since I last posted anything (oh dear!). It’s still pretty crazy now actually! There’s the lunar new year coming right up, so tons of spring-cleaning too! Fortunately, I’ve gotten part of the scrapbooking stash under control ūüėÄ I hope to eventually come up with a system and space that inspires and allows me to create without having to spend too much time searching for materials!

Well then, without further ado, here’s week 52 (a special 3-page spread since it’s the last weekend of the year) using the Just Add Color kit!

For this week’s spread, I experimented with sticking elements on the page protector to preserve the photo and/or to add space for journaling, for instance, the mint polka dotted circle above and ‘Wk52’ below.

Materials:

Project Life Just Add Color kit, stickers and alphas, Fancy Pants Collecting Moments Sticker Fundamentals, American Crafts Black Doodle thickers & remarks alphas, Studio Calico alphabet stickers, Studio Calico Transfers, accents & paper clips, Lily Bee Design Sweet Spot Stickers, Doodlebug Design Sugar Coating (metallic beetle black), Freckled Fawn Wood Chips (stars & such), Prima (All About Me) Chipboard Frames

I also did a quick layout using one of the photos from my photo bucket (not¬†photobucket, but a real teddy bear shaped bucket filled with orphaned photos). I didn’t want too much on it as the photo’s small on its own, and kept the whole layout bright and cheery, just like the day was when this photo was taken.

That’s all I’ve got to share for this week, stay tuned for more! And have a great week ahead! (:
