A little behind on Project Life (ok 19 weeks isn’t really little) D: But here’s week 6! Decided to go with green, yellow, blue, orange, white, gold and grey. Loving the colour combination! And of course there’s got to be some gold in there! it was quite enjoyable working with fixed colours as I didn’t have to spend too much time searching through my stash for materials that might match and it made working on 3 pages much easier.
We had quite a lot of things on this week, so week 6’s spread is 3 pages! I don’t usually stick to a fixed number of pages per week; it all depends on whether it was an eventful week. Sometimes it’s 3 pages, sometimes 10 if I travel during that week, or it was a really uneventful week, only a page.
Among other things, I was trying to get to office about 30 minutes earlier than usual as I wanted to have a little quiet in the morning to get settled down for breakfast in the office before starting working on the files. Pros and cons though; I definitely enjoyed the quiet and not having to rush to buy breakfast and work and eat at the same time but I was getting about 30 minutes less sleep each day. 30 minutes is a lot!
Sometimes, I end up with pictures where there isn’t much space left for embellishment, such as the photo with the ziplock bag. What I do often in such cases is have stickers or embellishments on the stuck directly on the page protector instead. That way, I still get the whole picture when I pull the photo out of the page protector.
